Early 40-2's in Paint Schemes long since sold out!In celebration of our 30th Anniversary, our latest offering are an assortment of like-new N Scale SD40-2 "Early"
models in a wide assortment of paint schemes that have not been produced in many years.
These locomotives are built up as "parts kit specials" from brand new SD40-2 mechanisms
and older body shells which have been maintained in pristine condition in the Kato USA warehouse.
As these are parts kit specials these locomotives aren't quite perfect - they will come with mismatched numberboards
as the original number boards are no longer available
and all locos will have black trucks and fuel tanks regardless of paint scheme.
On the other hand - we're selling these at a knockout price
makign them a great way to add a brand-new rare locomotive to your collection
without emptying your pocketbook!
